Rosary (Poem)

The dancing god lights up,
Hot and heavy, towards the ceiling
And the flickering light
 On the off-white...

I fight the thick air-
In and out,
In and out...
Deeper now, in...
And out.

Beads and a cross
And I recite the ancient
(W)holy (heretical) words
Lying to myself.

Be quiet...

.      .      .

Put out the lights.
The dancing god goes wild:
Spinning, swirling, swimming
Goes the dancing aroma god.

Linger with me scent,
I'll dance with you tomorrow.
Make haste to help me.
Amen
