About Me

My name is Ryne and this is my blog. The reason it's called The Pub Theologian is because I host a meeting once a month at Winslow's Tavern in Greenville, NC called Pub Theology. Pub Theology is an ongoing conversation about issues of faith, justice and spirituality. We gather around the table and share food, drinks and meaningful discussion with each other. The usual crowd is pretty diverse and anyone and everyone who wants to be a part of spiritual conversations is welcome to join us.

The idea behind this blog is mostly that is an outlet to start conversations. Most of the posts are thoughts and ideas and not finished, polished projects. If I say something in a post that contradicts an older post it's because I don't have it all figured out, and sometimes I change my mind about things.
